How to set a WiFi name/password on Omada
This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to set up a simple WiFi network. It will also provide information on other WiFi settings available in the TP-Link Omada controller.
Step 1: Select the site and go to Settings
- In your Dashboard, go to the appropriate site by using the drop-down in the top-right corner
- Once selected, click the Settings cog icon in the bottom-left
- Go to Wireless Networks and select WLAN
Step 2: Creating a Basic Wireless Network
- Click Create New Wireless Network
- Enter the desired WiFi name/SSID
- Change security type
- If you do not require a password, change to None
- If you do require a password, change to WPA-Personal
- Click Apply to provision the settings to the Access Points. This will provision the devices immediately once applied.
A basic network has now been configured, allowing you to connect wireless devices to your TP-Link Omada APs.
